It is only 65km away from Thessaloniki. With bicycle lanes, kiosks, bridges and a beach located two kilometres east, ideal for taking walks and swimming. Nea Poteidaia is home to a landmark canal where the ruins of ancient fort walls and a Doric tomb overlook fishing boats passing between the Toroneos and Thermaic gulfs.
