The Restaurant Elevators + More Interesting Stuff - Marriott Marquis Times Square in NYC

Recorded on March 23 & 25, 2019 Here's the last part of the Marriott Marquis Elevators, which will include a ride on one of the elevator cars that serve The View and a few more interesting things I found when riding these, which will include a look at the indicator in Car D when it is in express zone and a few trips in the elevator where I used the floor panel. MY THOUGHTS: Overall, these elevators are really great. However, after "joyriding" these, I found some noticeable issues that could be improved. First off, when using the handicap feature, it only assigns cars A, B, K, or L, the two glass cars on each end. Next, after entering a floor number and the dispatch panel assigns me a car, the lantern and car announcement goes off from another car. As you'll notice when I was at floor 1 when I entered floor 45 on the dispatch panel with the handicap used, it assigned me car A and instead, the car announcement and lantern went off from car F, in which the announcement on car F said "Car A". On the bright side, I do like the design on the glass cars and the speed that they run. The ride on the internal ones are pretty shaky for the most part, but they are fast. Overall, these have a lot of room for some improvement, even though they're getting really old. Hopefully, these don't get modded soon, but again, these are wonderful Miconic 10s.
