Wamuchomba urged Duale to accept the reality that UDA suffered a clear defeat in the Ol Kalou by election, accusing him of attacking Uhuru simply to cover the shame of that loss. Wamuchomba said it was particularly ironic for Duale to label Uhuru a tribalist, given that he served as the former president's Majority Leader in Parliament from 2013 to 2022 as a Somali MP personally appointed to the position by Uhuru. She pointedly asked Duale whether it took him ten years in that role to discover Uhuru held such views, questioning the credibility of the accusation given their long working relationship at the time.
