Social Media Sewing Trends I am NOT OK WITH!

Hi everyone, Let's have a discussion about intentional sewing, authentic sewing and responsible sewing. In today's video I bring to your attention 5 sewing trends that have some "interesting vibes" about them in my opinion. Some of these trends, make me feel like maybe home sewing has become the new fast fashion. Let's discuss. Like I did in this video, I would like to re-iterate that this is not about people, but this is about trends. It is not my heart to speak negatively about anyone in particular, it is my heart to start a conversation and gauge if there's other sewists out there who feel similar about these sewing trends that we're seeing emerging on social media. Also, I am not saying that the people who have engaged in these trends have the wrong motives at heart, I am saying that this is what coming across these trends over and over again makes me, a sewist, feel like.
