Welcome to Kitale, a major agricultural hub often referred to as the "breadbasket" of Kenya. The area is known for producing maize, wheat, and dairy products due to its fertile soil and favorable climate. Kitale is also a gateway to other attractions in Western Kenya, It's close to Mount Elgon National Park known for its wildlife and beautiful caves making it a tourist attraction and also a gateway to other attractions in the Rift Valley like Saiwa Swamp National Park, famous for the endangered Sitatunga antelope.
