Honda Fireblade ride out with Shakey Byrne and John McGuinness. BSB champion Shakey Byrne and Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness go for a road ride out on the new 30th anniversary Blade next to the 1992 original, then take us for a private tour around Honda UK Racing's HQ in Louth, Lincolnshire. 30 years ago the Honda Fireblade was launched, and spawned one of the most recognised model names and respected competition bikes of recent time. The Fireblade was the 'It' Superbike of the 1990s, and has continued to evolve over the last three decades. The planets aligned for this film, and we managed to get Fireblade Isle Of Man TT top gun veteran John McGuinness along for a day out road riding, and a VIP tour of Honda Racing UK's HQ in Louth. He and Shakey had a hoot as they leered over some of the race winning machinery in the foyet, then take us for a close look at the mechanic workshops, immaculate assembly rooms and bursting trophy cabinets.
