The Brave Little Toaster (1987) Theatrical Trailer [35mm Reconstruction]

#thebravelittletoaster #trailer #35mm #reconstruction #mockup While it is understandable for Disney to skip The Brave Little Toaster's domestic theatrical release in favor of a television premiere in 1988 (mostly to avoid resulting it as a box office flop if being handled by non-Disney distributors), this reconstructed edit of the original trailer (the UK version, at least) is what I imagine promoting the film if it managed to get a US theatrical release by Atlantic Entertainment Group (whom also co-produced with Hyperion Pictures on the 1986 Nutcracker ballet film). Before you start typing, yes, it is fan-fictional. No existing 35mm print of a US trailer was scanned, as I only mimicked parts in the edit with overlays of film dirt, dust and scratches to make it look authentic. The title logo at the end was also recreated, along with a different particle transition to replicate the one in the UK trailer. And of course, Gene McGarr's last line of narration at the end was AI-processed with RVC; no surprise. This edit was not intended to be the definitive trailer scan, as I'm sure Venny or Kineko Video will put some effort into searching an actual 35mm print of the UK trailer for a proper rescan in the future, but for now, this was my best reconstruction to date.
