Target Achieved! 30lb+ UK Carp from Naseby Reservoir

So here it is – the carp fishing session I’ve been waiting for! After weeks of talking about it in my vlogs, the time finally came and it didn’t disappoint. On this epic weekend at Naseby Reservoir, I finally managed to land that elusive 30lb+ carp I’ve been chasing all year. The conditions were stacked against me – a huge 93-acre lake reduced to 45 acres, cold winds, heavy rain, and reports of slow fishing in the days before we arrived. But against all odds, both myself and Rick who I met on the session (top bloke, great angler) walked away with some amazing results. Between us, we banked multiple 30s, plenty of upper 20s, and in total I had 13 carp of my own! Every single capture came using @CarpersEssentials end tackle and the ever-faithful MC NUT wafters, fished over a bed of MC NUT boilies and pellets coated in MC NUT glug. The results speak for themselves – a proper session I won’t forget anytime soon. This is why I love carp fishing – the buzz, the battle, the captures, and the moments with good people.
