Leaders must always be on guard against their own pride. Sometimes with success comes this thinking that we can do anything we want. Unfortunately that is not the case. The wise leader knows their limits, knows their place and lane to run in. The prideful leader doesn't see that, and the end result is a mess. King Uzziah started out so well, but didn't finish well. Pride tripped him up and left him living out his last days as a leper.
