The video begins with the transition from New Year's Eve to New Year's Eve 2024–2025, and then flows smoothly through everything that made this year so special. You'll see Mechelen events, dance afternoons, and a classical concert at St. Rumbold's Cathedral, as well as larger public events like Maanrock 2025, Vuur en Vlam with a fire spectacle, Circus Ronaldo, and the Winter Parade. A recurring theme throughout 2025 was the demolition and construction of Mechelen station, which I followed closely throughout the year. There was also time for nature and relaxation in Vrijbroekpark, with walks and events in all seasons. Animal vlogs were also a must, featuring Planckendael Zoo and the birth of a baby rhino, and a comparison with Antwerp Zoo. I also went to Keukenhof (South Holland), enjoyed a summer day in Ostend, and reflected on a hot summer in the city of Mechelen.
