Kyrie and I spent time at Cedar Hill State Park and Lake Arrowhead State Park before strong winds near Wichita Falls forced a pause at a lakeside pit stop to wait things out. Eventually, the road carried us onward to one of Texas’s most beautiful landscapes — Caprock Canyon. Sometimes travel days are smooth, and sometimes they ask for patience.
