Traditional Straw Work with Elaine Lindsay

With funding from the North and South LEADER Local Action Groups, the Elphinstone Institute, University of Aberdeen and Visit Scotland partnered to deliver #StoriesofAberdeenshire. The aim of the project was to support communities, groups, and individuals across Aberdeenshire to tell their stories, in their own words, to potential visitors to the region. The project highlights the region's extraordinary cultural heritage and creativity, touching on its internationally-renowned song traditions, poignant folktales, engaging local stories and characters, and deeply-rooted traditional skills.
