ACHTUNG ! Selbstverteidigung ist KEIN steriler Kampfstil ! Wie kämpfen andere Völker?

Thinking and acting according to style rules is often a major problem for self-defense students! Self-defense is usually trained within a specific fighting style. Often, there's a misconception or misunderstanding about how attacks might occur outside of training! Fist strikes are usually portrayed as they are practiced in, for example, boxing, wing chun, or karate—namely, according to the style. In my opinion, fighting styles were created to develop skills such as striking power, agility, endurance, blocking, protection, throws, breaking balance, and maintaining balance. In competition, you're confronted with the same techniques and almost identical skills that you've trained and learned yourself. However, an attack on the street usually unfolds in a completely different way than in martial arts. In the video, I show you how fighting styles are used in other nations and explain why some people have better stamina than "flat-land Europeans" even without training.
