What's an ultrasound-guided breast biopsy like?
Dr Kelly Teagle is a women's health GP who founded a Telehealth menopause clinic that helps thousands of women with their menopause symptoms. At the age of 54 she has been diagnosed with breast cancer from a routine screening mammogram. This VLog is her personal journey, in the hope that other women will be encouraged to get their mammograms done, and perhaps save their lives. In this video Kelly describes the ultrasound-guided breast biopsy she had one week after diagnosis to confirm another area of cancer in the breast. The information contained reflects Kelly's own personal story, feelings and opinions; it is not intended to guide women in their own medical care, other than to encourage them to engage in regular breast self-examination and screening. If you feel this story has been helpful to you, please share the VLOG with other women you know aged 40-70, and encourage them to get breast screening.
