Formato Beneficiario Controlador LFPIORPI

Those who carry out activities deemed vulnerable under the Federal Law for the Prevention and Identification of Operations with Illicit Resources (#LFPIORPI) must request information from their clients or users regarding their knowledge of the existence of the beneficial owner or controlling beneficiary. Failure to comply with this obligation is punishable by a fine of 200 UMA (Unit of Measurement and Update). To demonstrate compliance with this obligation, a signed statement from the client is required, along with, where applicable, the data and documents that allow for the identification of the beneficial owner or controlling beneficiary. The SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) has published an identification form on its website.
