After our river beach was altered by the winter floods, we're finally getting back to work today. In this second part, we'll show you how we're rebuilding the spot step by step – always in harmony with nature and the existing conditions. Instead of artificially altering everything, we're using the natural rocks and integrating a sturdy wooden platform directly into the existing rock formation. We're also building a large sunbathing area where several people can relax together. After all, we want to truly enjoy those hot Portuguese summer days by the water. Access to the river will also be safer and more convenient, making the spot not only more beautiful but also more practical.
