Maybe it's because I'm one of those people who picks up the instrument and wants to start playing right away, without having to plug in a thousand cables, pedals, amplifiers, control the volume, turn it up, turn it down... and then there's always the problem of the volume at home, which for years pushed me to prefer the acoustic. More direct, more immediate, more manageable. Some time ago, however, I realized I'd been neglecting an important part of my guitar journey for too long.
