Part 4. Project Completion, Royalex Mad River Voyager
After all the hull repairs and painting were completed in Part 3 of this restoration series it was time to outfit the interior of the canoe with new seating, gunwales, refinished thwarts and newly inset ash decks vice the standard deck on top of gunwales traditionally found in many Mad River Canoe Models. I think this project turned out better than expected and am very pleased with the result. The owner of the canoe was thrilled to see the restoration improvements and intends to gift the canoe to his son. Another rewarding project complete. Appreciate you all for following along and commenting on the project. Thanks for watching.
