High Sierra Trail out & back, 4 days

An out and back trip on the High Sierra Trail beginning in Crescent Meadow on the western sequoia in the giant forest and going to the eastern Sierra at the summit of Mount Whitney. It’s 61 miles to the summit of Whitney where most people exit down the main trail to Whitney portal for a 72 mile trip. I had no ride on the other side so my plan was to turn around and return to Crescent Meadow from the summit of Mount Whitney.
