Trains in Carlsbad and Oceanside, CA | Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, Coaster, Sprinter, and Metrolink!

Carlsbad Village and Oceanside, California are two neighboring cities in San Diego County, with Metrolink trains terminating in Oceanside from Los Angeles and Riverside, Coaster (North County Transit District) from Oceanside to San Diego, Sprinter from Oceanside to Escondido, and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, which can fly past Carlsbad at high speeds often, stretching from San Luis Obispo all the way to San Diego Santa Fe Depot. I was on a vacation in Carlsbad for the weekend of Friday, August 25, 2023 to Sunday, August 27, 2023, recording trains during my stay. I took the Amtrak 774 from Los Angeles Union Station to Oceanside Transit Center, then Coaster to Carlsbad. On my way back I took Coaster to Oceanside Transit Ctr. and Amtrak 774 back to LA.
