‎ ‎SERMON THEME: ‎“Positioned for Elevation in 2026: Guarding What God Has Committed to Us” ‎Psalms 75:6-7 ‎ ‎KEY SCRIPTURES ‎Judges 13–16 ‎Proverbs 18:21 ‎Proverbs 13:3 ‎Isaiah 54:17 ‎Ecclesiastes 5:2–6 ‎ ‎INTRODUCTION ‎As we step into 2026, we are not entering an ordinary year. ‎By the Spirit of God, this is a year of divine elevation, enlargement, and acceleration for those who are aligned with Him. ‎But here is the sober truth: ‎ ‎*God never elevates what is careless* ‎. ‎*He only elevates what is guarded* ‎ ‎*Before God lifts people publicly, ‎He tests them privately* ‎ ‎*Especially with their mouth, their discipline, and their obedience.* ‎ ‎Samson was positioned for national elevation, ‎but he lost it through 2 Ways ‎*careless living* & careless speaking. ‎ ‎POINT 1: God Has an Elevation Agenda for You in 2026 ‎Psalm 75:6–7 ‎“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west… but God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” ‎Lesson: ‎Your lifting in 2026 will not come from people ‎It will come from God. ‎ ‎God is ready to: ‎Lift your ministry ‎Lift your business ‎Lift your family ‎Lift your spiritual authority ‎Lift your influence ‎ ‎*But elevation requires stewardship* ‎ ‎POINT 2: What God Commits to You Determines How High He Will Lift You ‎Judges 13:5 ‎*God committed to Samson:* ‎✓A calling ‎✓A covenant ‎✓A gift ‎✓An assignment ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎God has also committed to you: ‎✓Vision ‎✓Spiritual gifts ‎✓Open doors ‎✓Opportunities ‎✓Relationships ‎✓Prophetic promises ‎ ‎You can only be elevated to the level you can faithfully guard. ‎ ‎POINT 3: Samson Was Elevated, But He Did Not Guard What God Gave Him ‎Judges 16:17 ‎*Samson revealed his secret to Delilah.* ‎ ‎*He lost: ‎*His power ‎*His authority ‎*His destiny ‎*His influence ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎Samson did not fall in the barber’s chair. ‎He fell in a conversation. ‎ ‎POINT 4: Your Mouth Is a Gate to Your Next Level in 2026 ‎ ‎Proverbs 18:21 ‎“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” ‎Proverbs 13:3 ‎“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life…” ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎In 2026: ‎*What you say will determine what you see.* ‎ ‎*What you confess will determine what you possess.* ‎ ‎*What you reveal will determine what you lose.* ‎ ‎POINT 5: Careless Words Can Cancel Divine Elevation ‎ ‎Samson spoke himself into: ‎*Capture ‎*Blindness ‎*Bondage ‎*Delay ‎ ‎Ecclesiastes 5:6 ‎“Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin…” ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎*Some people will not be delayed by demons. ‎*They will be delayed by their own mouth. ‎ ‎POINT 6: God Will Not Elevate What Is Undisciplined ‎Judges 16:20 ‎“And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.” ‎Samson still looked strong — ‎But the anointing had lifted. ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎In 2026: ‎*God will elevate the disciplined. ‎*God will bypass the careless. ‎ ‎POINT 7: Wrong Conversations and Wrong Relationships Can Abort Elevation ‎Judges 16:4 ‎ ‎*Samson loved Delilah* ‎Delilah: ‎*Pressured him ‎*Manipulated him ‎*Weakened him ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎Every season of elevation comes with Delilah-voices: ‎*People who pull secrets out of you ‎*People who drain your spiritual strength ‎*People who normalize sin and carelessness ‎ ‎PROPHETIC EMPHASIS FOR 2026 ‎This is not the year to talk too much. ‎This is the year to guard your mouth, your secrets, your calling, and your obedience. ‎ ‎HOW TO POSITION FOR ELEVATION IN 2026 ‎ ‎1. Guard Your Mouth ‎Stop over-sharing ‎Stop confessing defeat ‎Stop careless jokes about your destiny ‎Stop negative declarations ‎ ‎2. Guard Your Secrets ‎Not everyone deserves your testimony or your struggles. ‎ ‎3. Guard Your Relationships ‎Some people are assigned to delay your elevation. ‎ ‎4. Guard Your Covenant with God ‎Your prayer life and holiness are your true strength. ‎ ‎5. Speak What God Is Saying About You ‎Speak life ‎Speak faith ‎Speak destiny ‎Speak alignment ‎ ‎ILLUSTRATION ‎A man was promoted to manager. ‎Before promotion, he was humble and guarded. ‎After promotion, he became careless with words and prideful. ‎Within months, he lost the job. ‎ ‎Lesson: ‎God promotes discipline, not just gifting. ‎CONCLUSION ‎ ‎Samson shows us: ‎*God elevates people with destiny ‎*But God demotes people who refuse discipline ‎ ‎FINAL DECLARATION ‎“In 2026, I will not lose what God is lifting me into. ‎I will guard my mouth, my issues God has placed on My heart, my relationships, and my covenant with God. ‎ ‎I am positioned for divine elevation, and I will not abort it by careless words. ‎In Jesus’ Name.
