He is also the co-author (with Daron Acemoglu) of some influential books and articles, including “Why Nations Fail” (2012), “The Narrow Corridor” (2019), “Non-Modernization: Power-Culture Trajectories and the Dynamics of Political Institutions” (2021), and “Culture, Institutions and Social Equilibria: A Framework” (2021). About the Host: Gita Wirjawan is an Indonesian entrepreneur, educator, and Honorary Professor of Politics and International Relations at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham.
