Testing the RM Italy LA 145 VHF linear amplifier

In this video I am testing the RM Italy LA 145 VHF linear amplifier. I am using a Yaesu FT-818 set to 145.500 MHz FM on L1 and L2 power setting (1 W and 2.5 W according to the manual but measured somewhat lower). The radio is connected to a power supply, so no battery involved. The amplifier is connected to the same power supply with a DC power meter installed. Between the dummy load and the amplifier is an SWR cross-needle meter installed to measure the RF power. I made a mistake when speaking about switching the radio power level. Instead of switiching it to the second highest I switched it to the second lowest. Since the maximum input power of the amplifier is 4 W this is the highest level I can safely use (2.5 W).
