We left the city of Fort Lauderdale, in southern Florida, with pleasant temperatures around 20°C, heading towards one of the coldest regions in the United States. The plan was simple… but the experience was extreme. We flew from Florida to Massachusetts (city of Boston) and, from there, rented a car to tackle the road to Maine, to the city of Presque Isle on the border with Canada. In a single day of travel, we experienced the extremes of the weather in the USA: ☀️ tropical climate in Florida ❄️ -17°C in Maine, with snow on the road, freezing winds, rain, ice and reduced visibility. A brutal transition that shows how the United States changes completely from one state to another, not only in the landscape, but in the climate, the perceived temperature and the way of traveling. 👉 In the middle of this journey, lunch at Chipotle, a very popular Mexican restaurant in the USA, with flavors that are quite reminiscent of Brazilian food — simple, comforting, and perfect for a long trip.
