Dust Front might be one of the most exciting RTS games I’ve played in a very, very long time. In this video, I walk through the Dust Front demo and show why this game feels like it understands what made old-school RTS games so special. We’re talking proper base building, huge armies, Dreadnoughts, airstrikes, destructible terrain, mutant swarms, deployable artillery, supply systems, smart unit behaviour, faction identity, and a ton of quality-of-life features that so many modern RTS games seem to forget.
