TRIP REPORT | Saudia Airlines (NEW BUSINESS CLASS) | Jeddah - Jakarta | Boeing 777-300ER

TRIP REPORT of my Saudi Airlines (Saudia) Business Class flight from Jeddah to Jakarta, Indonesia aboard their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This 10 hour flight was my first long-haul business class experience. After visiting the lounge in Jeddah I found a huge mess during the boarding process. There was no priority line or a seperate bus for business class (even though they had some ready while arriving into Jeddah). A bus took us to the beautifully painted Saudia Boeing 777-300ER on the apron (there are no real gates at Jeddah at the moment..). To my surprise the cabin was pretty new and featured full flat bed seats - not like on the older 777's of Saudia. A huge plus for comfort if you are as lucky as me to get to fly on that aircraft ;) Before departure the amenity kit was handed out and food orders were taken. Sadly the meals were not really great on this flight... Keep in mind that Saudia is a DRY airline (no alcohol). After a few hours of sleep and some movies, breakfast was served. The meal was not great again... Upon arrival in Jakarta I went to my hotel for a few hours before my next flight on KLM to Kuala Lumpur.
