My first AliExpress watch 8 months later, upgraded with on-the-fly adjust clasp: Watchdives WD7922

The watch space on AliExpress has boomed in recent years driven mostly by designs that mimic more expensive pieces. I've had a number of vintage watches that did the same. Timex was and is a profilic borrower of classic designs. I was interested in picking up a dive style watch as a beater. The Watchdives WD7922 offered much of what I was looking for, but how would I feel longterm about it being a so-called 'homage."
