What Happened to XDefiant?

It's been a while since I've made any XDefiant videos and it appears much of the interest in this game in general seems to have died off. Today, I wanted to discuss why I feel XDefiant has reportedly lost a ton of its players and what I see as the best method of bringing players back going forward. What are your thoughts on the current state of XDefiant? Are you still playing it? If you stopped playing it, what were some of the main reasons?
