GAC Aion UT review Australia

I really like it. If only the safety stuff was easier to live with... Subscribe here:    / @therightcar   The new GAC Aion UT is a software update away from excellence. This is a compelling small EV, with a price tag starting at just $30,990 drive-away (AUD) for the launch period, and there are other deal sweeteners, too. That's for a car with 430km WLTP rated EV range - the best you can get for that kind of cash if you're buying new - and it has LOADS of features, too. But there are some issues. Nothing that can't be fixed, but it really, really needs to be fixed. -- ALTERNATIVES: Geely EX2 - review coming soon MG 4 Urban - review coming soon BYD Atto 1 -    • I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! BYD Atto 1 review Au...   BYD Atto 2 -    • BYD Atto 2 review Australia   Jaecoo J5 EV -    • New Jaecoo J5 EV review Australia   OTHER OPTIONS: MG S5 EV -    • The PERFECT new EV? MG S5 EV 2025 review A...   Hyundai Inster -    • 2025 Hyundai Inster Review Australia (Casp...   Omoda E5 (this review is of the previous model) -    • Best EV for country drivers in Australia? ...   GAC Aion V -    • Cheap, and absolutely BRILLIANT! New GAC A...   MORE EVS -    • EV reviews   -- 00:00 GAC Aion UT 00:28 Is it the right price? 01:55 What are the best alternatives? 03:28 Is it the right size? 06:18 Interior 14:22 Under the bonnet 15:02 Range and charging 15:59 Driving 21:42 Efficiency 22:36 Is it safe? 23:51 Ownership 24:35 Verdict -- I am aiming to review every new car on the market that people actually buy, to help new-car customers like you, or curious car enthusiasts (maybe also like you) get the right steer when it comes to choosing a new set of wheels.
