Homestead Chaos: We Might Have Taken On Too Much… |Ep:013|

Welcome back to Crying Wolf Homestead in Connecticut! In this episode, we take a step back and ask ourselves a question we’ve been thinking about a lot lately… have we bitten off more than we can chew? Between the farmstand, the animals, the garden, the art business, and everything else that comes with building a homestead, things can feel a little chaotic at times. We share an honest look at where we’re at, reflect on the journey that brought us here, and talk about whether we can bounce back from the slower farmstand sales we experienced last week. We also celebrate a huge milestone as Caitlyn releases One Red Arrow, Part II, the next chapter in a project that’s been years in the making! Around the homestead, we share some of the practices that have been working for us, including deworming our goats and chickens, and how rotational grazing with electric fencing is helping us reclaim and manage our land. Back in the studio, Caitlyn packs and ships original @cult.class artwork while we continue balancing creative work with life on the farm. And as always, we slow down to enjoy the peaceful moments around the homestead, spending time with the animals and appreciating the life we’re building here in Connecticut. If you enjoy homesteading, farm animals, small business, art, gardening, and simple country living, you’re in the right place.
