How to Hold a Dip Pen: Different Grips for Drawing Different Lines
In this video, I'll show you how I use different grips to make different types of lines when drawing. Some of these grips are better for lines that go from thin to thick, or thick to thin, and back again, but only in some directions. And some of these grips are better for lines that go in any direction, without much variation in line weight at all. The nib I’ll be using today is the Zebra G nib, Winsor & Newton Black Indian Ink, Fabriano 1264 Watercolour Paper, the Tachikawa T-25 nib holder, and the Speedball Oblique nib holder.
