Bangkok Day 2 🇹🇭 Big C Food Haul, Patpong Night Market & Amazing Thai Food

After an action-packed first day in Bangkok, we decided to take things a little slower and enjoy the area around our hotel, the InterContinental Bangkok. The day started with a visit to Big C, one of Bangkok's most popular supermarkets, where we went searching for Thai herbs, spices, curry pastes, and meal kits to bring home. It turned into a surprisingly fun shopping trip and a great way to discover some authentic Thai flavours beyond the restaurants. As the sun went down, we made our way to Patpong Night Market to wander through the stalls, check out the atmosphere, and see what treasures we could find. The market comes alive after dark and offers a completely different side of Bangkok. To round off the evening, we headed to Lay Lao near Sala Daeng for a late dinner. Known for its delicious northeastern Thai (Isaan) dishes, it was the perfect spot to enjoy some incredible local food and end a relaxed but memorable day in the city.
