How to Optimize Tilting Stability in RC Crawlers

This movie shows, how to increase the tilting angle of RC crawlers by widening the wheelbase and/or adding axle and bumper weights. A mathematical formula is being derived that can be used to predict the increased tilting angle as a function of widened wheelbase and added mass. Feel free using this formula to optimize the tilting behavior of your RC crawler. Correction: The term "wheelbase" was used in the wrong way. The wheelbase refers only to the distance of wheel axes in the longitudinal direction (front-back). Here "wheelbase" must be replaced by "track width" (distance between left and right wheel).
