RX-7 Rear Diff Removal and Inspection (Cover and Gear Options)

I’m back to work on the RX-7. The rear diff gets pulled to identify the reason for the leaks and I contemplate options for relocating the fuel filter. I discuss the process of removing the diff and some tips that should help if you are planning to do this on your car. A buddy and a lift are highly recommended, but not necessary! I also go over some options for diff covers and gears. The diff cover I used is from the 2004 to 2008 RX-8. The 2008+ RX-8 cover should work too and has extra cooling fins. In the next video I will replace all of the seals and install the RX-8 diff cover on to the FD differential.
