The New Bridge, Brooks Camp
May 26, 2019 The new elevated bridge over the Brooks River in Brooks Camp, Katmai National Park & Preserve, Alaska. Do note they are still putting some finishing touches on the bridge. I also do not have any information as to how NPS will operate the bridge this coming season in terms of foot traffic flow and bear proximity. Also, I purposely turned the volume down in the video; it was windy and just made terrible noise - there's no narration, so save your ears. :)
