A Woman of Wisdom and Courage: St. Catherine the Great Martyr of Alexandria

St. Catherine is one of those women of antiquity who stood out in Roman society at the end of the 3rd and beginning of the 4th centuries. The early Christians, by recounting her life, presented and emphasized the value of the woman, who is also made in the image of God, but, at the same time, sought to correct the many errors of the pagans and convert them to the Christian Faith.
