16TH KABARAK UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL HEALTH CONFERENCE, 2026

The 16th Kabarak University International Research Conference brings together leading researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, educators, students, and industry partners to explore practical solutions for strengthening health systems through research, innovation, and collaboration. Hosted by the School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the School of Pharmacy, the conference is held under the theme: "Building Resilient Health Systems Through Innovation, Equity, and Multisectoral Action to Advance Universal Health Coverage." This session features the official opening of the conference, including remarks by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry K. Kiplangat, as well as keynote and guest addresses from distinguished local and international leaders in higher education, healthcare, and research. The discussions highlight the role of universities in advancing scientific discovery, preparing future healthcare professionals, driving innovation, informing policy, and building partnerships that strengthen health systems. The conference showcases research and evidence-based solutions across medicine, pharmacy, nursing, public health, nutrition, clinical sciences, health technology, pharmaceutical sciences, and health systems strengthening.
