Femoral Nerve Entrapment Release - Motion Specific Release
Femoral Nerve Entrapment Release - Motion Specific Release - In this video Dr. Abelson demonstrates some of the MSR techniques to release the femoral nerve. Most entrapments of the femoral nerve occur below the inguinal ligament. Symptoms of a femoral nerve entrapment can include pain in the inguinal region that is somewhat relieved by flexion and external rotation of the hip. Patients with femoral nerve entrapment often present with weak hip flexion, and knee extension. On examination pain may be increased with hip extension and relieved with external rotation of the hip. MOTION SPECIFIC RELEASE (MSR) Motion Specific Release (MSR) is a “Treatment System”, combining the benefits of various and diverse therapeutic perspectives. MSR has one singular focus, the resolution of musculoskeletal conditions. Read Dr. Abelson's blog on MSR https://www.kinetichealth.ca/post/mot...
