In September 2011, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board voted to close P.C.V.S. One of the oldest high schools in Canada and the only downtown school in Peterborough, Ontario, P.C.V.S. was a vital part of the downtown core. This video was originally uploaded in protest of the board's decision. It was recorded in the stairwell of the school just months before the closure.
