This is not a garage queen, and it is definitely not original. This is my 6-litre Jaguar XJS — a big-engine grand tourer turned into a tarmac rally weapon, built to be driven hard on real roads, not polished under fluorescent lights. The Jaguar XJS was designed as a high-speed luxury cruiser, yet underneath the long bonnet is a chassis far stiffer and more capable than it is ever given credit for. Add serious torque, long-legged gearing, and proper suspension setup, and the result is something unexpected: a large, fast, stable rally car that thrives on tarmac.
