Aditya Pande is born and brought up in Nainital, a hill station in Uttarakhand. But his love for mountains develop when he leaves them. He decides to push his limits in order to experience truly what it means to be a mountaineer. In his journey, he meets various people who help him in his goal. But most importantly, he finds a mentor, Pranav Rawat, who helps him train and experience mountaineering like he wanted. This is a documentary of how Aditya Pande, along with Pranav Rawat, climbed Friendship Peak in Manali, fully in self sustainable way. This also brought rise to alpine climbing, a pure form of climbing with does not require porters or mules to carry load. I made this film during the lockdown phase, in 2020. But after lockdown opened, this unfinished business was left as a project file. This year, while scrapping through data, I found it, in half completion.
