My Body Said No. I Did It Anyway. | MS Ultra Training Week 5 #ms #nevergiveup #ultra
Week 5 of training for my Double Ultra Triathlon is in the books. This week wasn't pretty. Monday was my birthday, and I spent most of it training alone while Seth was away. Tuesday was infusion day — 5.5 hours at the VA receiving my Ocrevus treatment for Multiple Sclerosis. Wednesday my body felt completely drained. Then Thursday brought one of the toughest training days yet: 74.6 miles on the bike and 9 miles running in 85° heat while fighting the vision loss that comes with my MS. For those who are new here, I'm a visually impaired athlete living with Multiple Sclerosis and training to become the first person with MS to complete a 281.2-mile Double Ultra Triathlon. Thank you for following along and supporting this journey. Every comment, share, and subscription helps spread awareness that life doesn't end after an MS diagnosis. 📍 CHAPTERS 00:00 Introduction & Week 5 Overview 00:30 Monday – Birthday Training Day 02:35 Tuesday – Ocrevus Infusion Day 03:42 Wednesday – Recovery & Fatigue 04:11 Thursday – 74.6-Mile Ride, 9-Mile Run & Heat Battle 11:20 Friday – New Shoes & Training Updates 13:17 Week 5 Closing Thoughts #MultipleSclerosis #UltraTriathlon #MSWarrior #EnduranceAthlete #ms
