Shaftesbury Resonator Guitar -DelVecchio Dinamico copy

Here's an update on the guitar, still very much work in progress, but I think there's still some scope to improve the performance of this nice looking guitar. Since recording the clip I've put on some cheap high tension strings which improved things a little, then I took it apart, did bit more work on the cone, trimming the edge so that it wasn't binding in the soundwell, flattening the edge so that it sat in the well properly and tried and get the biscuit to sit better on the platform at the top of the cone. I also widened the string spacing at the saddle, and when I was re-fitting the new saddle into the biscuit, I realised that the cone wasn't completely level at the top, so there was some further adjustment and it's now sounding a bit better, and the buzzes and rattles seem to have greatly reduced. There's still work to be done, but I'm not rushing at it.
