#bookshelf #homedecor #transformation Custom built-ins would have been beautiful on this fireplace wall—but they also would have cost thousands.So instead, we worked with the floating shelves Deborah already had and gave them what they were missing: scale, art, repetition, warmth, and breathing room. The before wasn’t terrible. It was just bitty. Too many small accessories, not enough visual structure, and no real composition around the fireplace.
