Who Dares Wins - Partial Victory
I was a big fan of The Professionals back in the seventies. My loyalties ran more towards Lewis Collin’s Bodie over Martin Shaw’s Doyle as he seemed a more authentic ex-military hard-nut with a devil may care swagger and a better hairstyle. Whilst Shaw went on to make a big noise in TV dramas Collins aimed higher, for movie action hero status. Who Dares Wins should have effectively propelled him along that route but didn’t. Whilst I can, up to a point, certainly watch and enjoy his most significant foray into the world of mainstream movie making, I’m not going to claim to be its biggest fan because I’m not.
