Toronto Slowly Reopens - Downtown Walk on May 19, 2020 [4K]

A 4K Toronto walk around the somewhat empty streets of downtown. It's been about two months since most non-essential businesses in the city were ordered to close due to the Coronavirus / Covid-19 however as of Tuesday May 19th, which is when this walk was recorded the province has allowed most retail stores that have a street entrance to reopen physical distancing measures in place. I was curious to see how this would play out so I headed down Yonge Street from College Station passed the still closed Eaton Centre to Queen Street West. From there I walked over to Spadina Avenue then up to Dundas Street through part of Chinatown and back to Dundas Square. From the looks of things most retailers weren't yet ready to open but some notable ones were such as Foot Locker, H&M on Queen St West and Best Buy were. The streets were still relatively empty which I suspect will be the case until restaurants and cafes are allowed to fully re-open which unfortunately won't be until May 29th at the earliest. As more places start to reopen I'll be sure to come back and re-visit these areas as well as explore other parts of the city.
