Renault Clio E-Tech Hybrid 160 cv: fa 25 km con un litro di benzina!

The new generation Clio introduces the 160-horsepower E-Tech hybrid engine, a more extensive onboard equipment list with a dual 10-inch screen and integrated Google, and a sportier styling. Prices start from €24,900 (for the hybrid). Despite the wheelbase having grown by 8 mm and the width by 39 mm for a length of 4.12 meters, the new Clio is based on the CMF platform introduced way back in 2013. The sixth-generation Clio has changed: the hood is longer, there's a new, more pronounced grille featuring diamond-shaped elements, and a new light signature that characterizes a rather aggressive front. Personally, I find the rear a bit too "heavy" and sloping, a rear that also features new four-piece taillights. The interior debuts the 10-inch OpenR dual display: one screen is dedicated to the instruments and the other to the multimedia system, featuring an integrated Google operating system. The perceived quality is good, also because the more rigid plastic parts have been cleverly hidden. The entry-level engine for the revamped Clio is the new 1.2 TCe 115 hp petrol engine, which will be joined in a few months by the eagerly awaited Eco-G 120 petrol-LPG version with automatic transmission. The star of our first test drive is powered by the most interesting engine in the range: the new 1.8-liter naturally aspirated E-Tech Full Hybrid with 160 hp, which has been improved in several respects.
