LM314V23/24 Victory 2 Assault-Buster Gundam Ver.Ka - Timelapse Build (Daban - 1/100)

This was an...interesting build. I saw this kit a few months back and had been planning on getting it for a while, but I only managed to swipe on rather recently. This is Daban's take on Bandai's original Victory 2 Assualt-Buster Gundam from a few years ago. The original Bandai version is nearly impossible to find nowadays (unless you're willing to pay a LOT of money for one), but this one is more accessible, and much cheaper as well. However, this was by no means an easy kit to put together. Thanks to the core fighter part of it, the whole thing is built in a very strange way which lead to me having to spend far longer on this kit than I had anticipated. It took me a while to figure out how everything was supposed to go together, and even at the end I can't help but feel that I must have missed something. And then there were the decals... I don't think I've ever seen decal numbers that get up into the 200s, but this one did. It took me two days of hard work to finally get all of them on this kit, and while it wasn't as bad as I had thought it might be, it still took me ages to do. Overall, certainly an interesting kit and one I'm glad to have in my collection, but not one I can easily recommend. It certainly looks great on my shelf (the gold accents and effect wings help with that a lot) but it's also a kit I'd like to avoid having to touch anytime soon. Next video will (hopefully) not take nearly as long. See you then! Socials Instagram:   / scorpiuryt   X:   / scorpiuryt
