The Jayhawks Reconocidos maestros del mejor country rock y country alternativo, The Jayhawks han desarrollado una larga y brillante trayectoria desde 1985. Liderada en sus comienzos por los vocalistas, guitarristas y compositores Gary Louris y Mark Olson, tras la marcha del segundo en 1995, Gary Louris asumió el liderazgo, posición en la que continúa hasta hoy, si bien Olson se ha reincorporado a la banda en algunos breves periodos. En los últimos años, The Jayhawks han publicado dos álbumes excelentes: “Back Roads and Abandoned Motels” (2018), uno de los mejores de toda la historia del grupo, y “XoXo” (2020). En su primer concierto en Jazz San Javier, tendremos la ocasión de disfrutar las armonías vocales y las bellísimas composiciones de esta banda legendaria. Led in the beginning by vocalists, guitarists and songwriters Gary Louris and Mark Olson, after the departure of the latter in 1995, Gary Louris took over leadership, a position in which he continues to this day, although Olson has rejoined the band in a few short periods. In recent years, The Jayhawks have released two excellent albums: “Back Roads and Abandoned Motels” (2018), one of the best in the group's history, and “XoXo” (2020). In their first concert at Jazz San Javier, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the vocal harmonies and the beautiful compositions of this legendary band.
