Cocos Island, Costa Rica - June 2024

Cocos island, Costa Rica had been on our list for a long time. We finally made the journey in June 2024. We chose to go on the Cocos Island Aggressor, and we were not disappointed. It is a well-designed boat with a great crew. We had a fantastic trip with tons of Hammerhead Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Blacktip Sharks and a couple of Whale Sharks. On one dive alone, we were able to see all five shark species. In addition, we saw lots of schooling fish, mating Whitetip Reef Sharks, and even some smaller critters. We shared our trip with fifteen other divers, making some new friends along the way. What an awesome trip we had, with some awesome people! I'm quite certain that another trip to Cocos Island is in my future.
